(Ninebark) SUMMER WINE® Physocarpus is a new and improved Ninebark with a neat and compact branching and fine deeply cut, dark wine-red leaves. At only 5-6 feet at maturity, this new shrub never gets out of control or leggy. The bold foliage of SUMMER WINE® is adorned with pinkish-white, button-like flowers in midsummer. Plant with contrasting foliage plants like SUNSHINE BLUE® Caryopteris for a spectacular color combo! A PROVEN WINNERS® COLORCHOICE® Flowering Shrub.

    Perfect Ninebark
Perfect Ninebark! Planted it around my patio with junipers and phlox and it looks great, is low maintenance, and flowers/foliage is great. Definitely want to prune it or pinch it the first year, this made it branch out well. Super-fast grower also.
