(Hydrangea – Panicle) Easy to grow and no-fail blooms it what PUFFER FISH® Hydrangea brings to the landscape lineup. Growing 3-5 feet tall and wide this hardy hydrangea forms a semi-compact mounding habit. The large white blooms emerge mid to late summer and as they age turn lime green. A unique addition to PUFFER FISH® is the tuft of florets at the tip of the bloom, it resembles a spray of water. With so many flowers, the deep green foliage is hardly seen at the peak of the bloom season. Think of this like Bobo® but with larger flowers and even more flower coverage. Planted in full sun to part shade conditions, Hardy Hydrangea PUFFER FISH® prefers moderate to moist soil conditions. Hardy in zones 3-8, this versatile Hydrangea blooms off of the new growth and can be trimmed in the Fall or the Spring. Enjoy the beautiful blooms as a cut flower, or dry for winter planters. PUFFER FISH® Hydrangea is a Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrub.
