This fuller growth gives better coverage when used as a hedge and greater presence as a specimen planting. FINE LINE® Improved Buckthorn has a narrow columnar form growing 5-7 feet high by 2 feet wide and is extremely hardy growing in zones 2-7. This hardiness makes FINE LINE® Improved a great choice for container planting on the patio or framing a doorway or path. FINE LINE® Improved grows best in full to part sun in well-drained soil with average moisture. However, when established, it can tolerate drier conditions.
