Description

Details

(Gayfeather) Liatris 'Kobold' will add a great vertical element to your perennial garden. In early summer, bright, rosy-lavender flower wands open from the top to the bottom, attracting a variety of butterflies. The narrow, spiky leaves of this unique flower are up to 10-inches long at the base of the plant and decrease in length up the stem. Liatris 'Kobold' is a low maintenance native perennial that requires full sun and prefers well-drained, moist soil. 'Kobold' is popular as a cut flower or can be dried for decorative floral arrangements.

Not deer resistant Review by enviroplanter | Zone: 7a

This plant is not deer resistant, at least in eastern PA. All of mine were eaten off close to the ground. (Posted on 9/16/2017)
