(False Spirea) Astilbe ‘Delft Lace’ will brighten up your landscape with its lacy beauty. The waxy foliage is a deep blue-green with a light silver overlay. ‘Delft Lace’ flowers in midsummer with clusters of deep salmon pink buds, on long red stems that open to a soft apricot pink. This variety is reported to have more attractive foliage and stronger flower stems than ‘Peach Blossom’. Astilbe ‘Delft Lace’ is easy to grow in light shade or filtered sun, but does like its feet in moist soil. Wait until spring to trim these back. The old foliage will serve as protection over the winter. Plant a few different varieties for a rainbow of color.

So happy I added this to my shade garden! The color is on point and is a hardy plant. Low maintenance and has grown to a very mature plant after a few years.
