(Birch) With its dainty size and foliage, CESKY GOLD® Birch is a beauty for full sun to part shade gardens. The pleasing foliage offers seasons of color. In the spring, new growth emerges reddish orange in color and as it ages, turns chartreuse green. Grown for its foliage interest, CESKY GOLD® does well in full sun to part shade, although we recommend for southern zones to be planted in part shade. Planted in cool well drained soil is recommended. CESKY GOLD® Birch can be left alone or trimmed to any desired height. Uses for this shrub include a hedge, border, specimen or trimmed to shape for container designs. CESKY GOLD® is a PROVEN WINNERS® COLORCHOICE® Flowering Shrub.

Settling in with a wet spring.

This is one of my absolute favorite plants ever. It has a beautiful ombré look- the new growth is golden yellow and it fades into a darker green (the old growth toward the center of the plant). It is stunningly beautiful and so unique. It’s definitely an eye catcher and adds a lot of interest into my yard. Comes back faithfully year after year and requires no maintenance at all- I would 100% reccomend this shrub if your looking to add color in to your garden, you won’t be disappointed!
