(Sedge) Carex ‘Evergold’ is a handsome semi-evergreen sedge with creamy yellow and green variegated leaves. A stunner all year round, even in the winter, when everything is bare. Its compact mounding habit makes this an excellent choice for the front of a border, spreading up to 18 inches with a height of 12 inches. A striking foliage plant with very little maintenance! ‘Evergold’ prefers light shade, and unlike other sedges, requires low to average watering needs. Hardy for zones 5 to 9, and deer resistant. This is also a great option for rock gardens and container gardening. Cut down in very early spring, leaving 1/3 of the plant.

    Always Looks Good
Tough plant, always looks good even in less than ideal conditions (sun and drought). Deer and slug proof. Keeps its foliage year round in zones 7 and 8.
