Standing 15-18 inches tall, ‘Purple Emperor’ is a compact, stocky plant that will not fall. Echinacea prefer to be planted in full sun to part shade locations with moderate to dry soil. Enjoy ‘Purple Emperor’ indoors or out, this is a great fragrant specimen and does well indoors as a cut flower. Plant as a specimen or in mass for a stunning garden presence. For a garden full of Echinacea in the Butterfly Series also consider giving ‘Cleopatra’ or ‘Julia’ a try!
