(Tropical Hibiscus) Add this unique tropical hibiscus to your collection! Hollywood Hibiscus™ Sunset Boulevard™ features gorgeous, blazing orange blooms with a deep, almost black center. These large blooms contrast nicely with the plant’s dark green foliage and will last for up to 3 days. Hummingbirds are sure to visit, but deer will stay away. It can grow to 5 feet tall and a width of 4 feet. Plant in areas that receive full sun exposure (6+ hours each day). Tropical hibiscus are hardy in zones 9-11, but can still be enjoyed by those in cooler zones by growing them as an annual or bringing them indoors to overwinter. To overwinter indoors, place the plant in direct sunlight and don’t worry if its leaves drop, the plant will flush back out once it returns to the outdoors in the spring.
