(Hosta) With so many hostas how does one choose? Colors, size and textures are just a few of the attributes to take into consideration. SHADOWLAND® ‘Diamond Lake’ features large, heart shaped leaves that get up to 9 inches wide by 11 inches long. The bright blue foliage is heavily corrugated and has scalloped pie crust edges. The thick substance of the foliage helps with increased slug resistance. Standing 17 inches tall and 45 inches wide, SHADOWLAND® ‘Diamond Lake’ is a short wide hosta. In mid summer flower scapes reaching 25-28 inches tall are proportionality situated above the foliage and are adorned with pale lavender flowers. Enjoy the hummingbirds as they come to your garden. Hardy in zones 3-9, SHADOWLAND® ‘Diamond Lake’ hosta prefers to be grown in full shade to part shade locations. SHADOWLAND® ‘Diamond Lake’ is a fast grower and fills out quickly. SHADOWLAND® ‘Diamond Lake’, a PROVEN WINNERS® Perennial.

Deborah P –
This was a late season purchase, so I was not surprised to see several brown leaves. I trimmed them before planting. The hosta put out several new leaves and bloom stocks the first two weeks. Now I have blooms. I’m so happy with the quality of plants. I’ve purchased Proven Winner plants for a long time because I like the quality. Garden Crossings PW plants beat my local nursery PW plants, even with shipping across the USA to Western Washington. Zone 9. Thanks for the care taken when growing your plants.

I bought this in early 2021 and it has already doubled in size. It is a striking hosta and one of my new favourites.
