(Bee Balm) Monarda ‘Pardon My Lavender’ is a wonderfully compact Bee Balm that packs a ton of flower color mid to late summer! If your garden is lacking space for the traditional large Monarda, this compact introduction is just for you. This is a great selection for the front of your garden or for use in a combination planter. Standing only 14-18″ tall, the large 2 1/2-3″ lavender pink flowers are a real standout. A hummingbird and honey bee’s dream come true. The little mounds of mint-scented, glossy dark green foliage are deer resistant. ‘Pardon My Lavender’ exhibits excellent mildew resistance, unlike many of the traditional Bee Balm varieties. Monarda is also a deer resistant perennial! It has been noted that this Monarda has survived in zone 3! ‘Pardon My Lavender’ is another great selection in the PROVEN WINNERS® Perennial plant line.

These are gorgeous in our smallest garden patch. We only got two this year, but will get more next year. They are loaded with bumble bees! The leaves are beautiful by themselves but the flowers are outstanding.
