(Oriental Fountain Grass) Pennisetum ‘Karley Rose’ is a lovely mid-sized ornamental grass. The dark-green foliage grows in an upright clump and is accented by striking dusty-rose pink flowers from mid-summer into autumn, making ‘Karley Rose’ one of the earliest blooming warm season grasses. New plumes are continuously displayed all summer long and gently sway in the slightest breeze. ‘Karley Rose’ is a vigorous grower that looks spectacular when planted in masses and its blooms are excellent as a cut flower, fresh or dried. ‘Karley Rose’ Pennisetum does prefer full sun but can tolerate part shade and is drought tolerant when established.

    Absolutley Beautiful
Absolutely beautiful! Tall grass topped with Smokey-rose colored blooms that are extra pretty. Thrived despite being planted at the beginning of Dallas’s worst summer ever. Tolerated neglect. Plus I plopped it straight into our tough clay. I’ll be planting more of this one.
