(Red Head Fountain Grass) Pennisetum ‘Red Head’, an impressive ornamental grass, is the largest flowering of all the Fountain Grasses! It shows off plumes which resemble burgundy-red fox tails when opening and then explode into huge smoky-purple bottlebrushes. Each bottlebrush plume measures a whopping 3″ wide and over 8″ long! ‘Red Head’ offers attractive golden foliage in the fall. Blooming earlier than other Pennesitum, ‘Redhead’ starts its show in August here in Michigan. Hardy down to zone 5, Pennesitum ‘Red Head’ stands 4-5 foot tall and wide and is sure to add vertical color and motion to your landscape.

    A Beauty
Never fails year to year, this one is a beauty. At around 3 ft. and loaded with 8 inch beautiful Smokey purple red plumes long lasting and worth the money. I have 5 in a half moon section in the yard and larger ornamental behind, wow!

    Best Grass
This is by far the best grass I have seen yet. It is blooming wonderfully here in Michigan in early September. Planted with Black-eyed Susan in front it is just stunning.
