However, the flowers on this spiderwort are significantly smaller at only 2″ wide. Tradescantia ‘Webmaster’ features small purple flowers forming a soft triangular shape with its 3 petals. Its long thin foliage is green in color. This native perennial can reach a maximum height of 18 inches and spread up to 24 inches long. It is hardy in zones 3-9, and is very versatile. It can be planted in full sun, part shade, or shade locations with moist soil. Flowers appear in early summer and last into midsummer.
