(Clematis) For those of you looking for a clematis that can be grown in part shade locations, we introduce Boulevard® Vicki. Showing off the vibrant shades of magenta and pink flowers with heavily ruffled edges, Boulevard® Vicki is a compact clematis growing up to 4 feet tall. Hardy in zones 4-9, clematis like to be grown in moderate to moist soil with good drainage. Boulevard® Vicki can be grown in part shade to shade locations as long as it gets 4 hours of sunlight. This free-flowering variety blooms in the late spring early summer and again in the Fall. If desired you can trim this plant back after its first round of blooms. New growth will emerge for your later summer color. We recommend shading their roots with mulch or companion plants. Please note clematis flower color may vary depending on its environment.
