(Hosta) When walking through the trail gardens looking for new hostas to add, ‘Lakeside Paisley Print’ jumped out at me right away. The heavily ruffled texture is what sold me. This small-sized hosta stands 10 inches tall and spreads up to 22-24 inches wide. In mid-summer flower scapes emerge with lavender flowers, standing up to 24 inches tall. ‘Lakeside Paisley Print’ features heart-shaped leaves, with wide deep green margins. The center of each leaf has narrow, creamy yellow veining that lightly feathers out. Each leaf is heavily ruffled with thick substance adding texture to the garden. Hardy in zones 3-9, ‘Lakeside Paisley Print’ Hosta prefers to be grown in part to full shade locations. Hostas are easy to grow and add attractive foliage to container and shade gardens.
