(Miniature Fountain Grass) Pennisetum ‘Little Bunny’ is a truly miniature fountain grass with cream seed heads that resemble little bunny tails. A light breeze will have these plumes dancing in the wind. This petite Ornamental grass is great for the front of the border or for gardens with limited space. The mature ‘Little Bunny’ grass stands 16″ to 20″ tall and spreads no more than 24″ wide. ‘Little Bunny’ is virtually deer-proof! Foliage may remain through the winter to enjoy the red to burgundy fall color, but should be cut back in early spring before the new growth appears. Pennisetum ‘Little Bunny’ is easy to maintain and loves the full sun to light shade. This miniature fountain grass also works well in containers or patio planters.
