(Mexican Giant Hyssop) A bright new addition to the SUMMERLONG™ series, SUMMERLONG™ Lemon Agastache features striking yellow, trumpet-shaped blooms that stand tall on dark green stems. Its foliage is vibrant and fragrant. Agastache is a favorite of hummingbirds, and you’re sure to see plenty visiting SUMMERLONG™ Lemon. It also attracts pollinator bees. However, deer tend to stay away, making it a great deer resistant perennial option for the garden. Hardy in zones 7a-10b, this agastache can grow to a maximum height and width of 16-22 inches. It grows best in full sun areas and when planted in well-drained soil. Once established, it is heat and drought tolerant. Low maintenance, it requires only light watering. SUMMERLONG™ Lemon Agastache blooms earlier than most agastache and stays in bloom for longer. Its flowers appear in late spring and last through late summer. Enjoy in a container combination with complimentary annuals or perennials, or plant in the ground out in the garden.
