(Naked Witherod) Add a little spice to your landscape with Spice Girl® , a scent-sational Viburnum. Spice Girl® is a fragrant, strong grower. The beautiful, fragrant flowers start off a deep reddish pink color and as they mature turn to a blush white color. When planted next to other plants of the same species, it may produce berries in the fall which remain on the stems into the winter months. This viburnum is a shrub hardy in zones 4-9 making it a great choice for locations with colder winters. It grows best in full sun to part shade locations and makes a great border plant. It can also be planted in mass or as a specimen in landscapes and gardens. It has an upright growth habit which stands 6-7 feet tall and up to 7 feet wide. Viburnum Spice Girl® is a native shrub and is known to be deer resistant. Its flowers attract bees and butterflies, while its berries attract songbirds. For best growing results, plant in moderate, moist soil that has good drainage. Viburnum Spice Girl® is a PROVEN WINNERS® COLORCHOICE® Flowering Shrub.
