(Butterfly Bush) I cannot say enough about the PUGSTER® series of Butterfly bushes! PUGSTER® Amethyst is a 5th addition to the family and is just as amazing as its siblings. The PUGSTER® butterfly bushes are a compact habit standing only 2 foot tall and wide. For our northern gardeners you will find that these are more hardy than some of the other Buddleias on the market. PUGSTER® Amethyst has extra large pinky/lilac colored blooms that are held up by the thick, dense stems can easily withstand the harsh northern winters. The large leaves are deep green in color and look nice even when the plant has not started to bloom. Hardy in zones 5-9, the fragrant blooms attract all sorts of flying friends such as butterflies, hummingbirds and pollinators. Grown in full sun, PUGSTER® Amethyst will put on a stunning show in your garden or landscape. Butterfly Bushes flower off of the new growth so pruning can be done in fall or early spring if desired. PUGSTER® Butterfly Bushes will bloom all summer, you can remove spent blooms if you so desire. Buddleia PUGSTER® Amethyst is a PROVEN WINNERS® COLORCHOICE® Flowering Shrub.

  1. Terry J

I love these plants. I planted a row along my side walk last year and they came back this year full of blooms and the foliage is beautiful. My husband and I can enjoy all the pollinators from inside and see their beauty.

  2. Deb S

    Great bloomer last year
