(Lupine) One of the favorite perennials in our garden is Lupine. The Westcountry™ series is no exception! Known for their bold bi-colored flowers, Westcountry™ Tequila Flame features soft red and butter yellow flower spikes that bloom early summer and continue to bloom throughout the summer when they are deadheaded. Standing 24-36 inches tall and spread to 24 inches wide, the unique star-shaped foliage is worth noting for additional interest even when this plant is not in bloom. Grown in full sun locations, Westcountry™ Tequila Flame likes to be watered regularly and grown in well-drained soil. Lupine flowers a great for cutting and making a beautiful floral arrangement. Lupine is a perfect addition to landscapes, borders, mass plantings, and cutting gardens. Fast-growing and easy to grow, Westcountry™ Tequila Flame Lupine is a garden treat for hummingbirds. Pair with Cranesbill, Russian Sage, or Columbine for an all-around beautiful garden. Hardy in zones 5-8, Westcountry™ Tequila Flame brings tall colorful flower spikes to the garden.

It grew well lots of flowers for the first year. It survived the winter. The color was a little darker in my soil than the picture.
