Juniper brightens up the landscape with hues of chartreuse in spring, yellow in summer and orange in the fall. This evergreen is surprisingly soft to the touch, easy to grow and is drought tolerant.
Juniper is a useful groundcover for rock gardens and sunny slopes. It grows only 1 to 2 feet tall but will spread 9 to 11 feet. Easy care juniper requires no pruning but may be shaped in early spring if desired. Oh, and it's deer resistant, too!
