What a great mix of foliage color and texture in the EZ Scapes™ Made for the Shade garden design. Starting at the back of the garden, SHADOWLAND ‘Miss America’ has a huge presence in the garden standing up to 19 inches tall when mature. The green and white bicolor foliage adds a splash of color. Add a splash of texture with the ‘Crested Surf’ Japanese Painted Fern. The olive green and burgundy foliage pairs well with PRIMO ‘Black Pearl’ Heuchera. The nearly black, glossy foliage is unlike any other black foliaged Heuchera to date. Dabble in spring color with Pulmonaria ‘Spot On’, the green foliage features white speckles all summer long. In the spring Periwinkle blue blooms with a touch of pink emerge.
The EZ Scapes™ Made for the Shade garden kit consists of: 4- PRIMO ‘Black Pearl’, 3- SHADOWLAND ‘Miss America’, 3- Pulmonaria ‘Spot On’, and 4- ‘Crested Surf’ Ferns. This planting is recommended for a 7’x12′ garden space.
