(Clematis) The Duchess of Cornwall™ clematis is a repeat flowering clematis. In the early season, the flowers will show shades of violet-blue and as the sun gets stronger and the heat climbs, later blooms will be a deeper violet that softens to a mid-blue color. Smaller in height, The Duchess of Cornwall™ gets 4-5 feet tall and likes to be grown in full sun to part sun locations. The perfect size clematis for small arbors or obelisks, plant in your garden or in a container for vertical color. Hardy in zones 4-9, we recommend shading the roots with a layer of mulch or planting low companion plants for natural shade. As noted above, clematis flower color may vary depending on its environment.
