This regal shrub will grow 6-10 feet high and 3-4 foot wide and prefers acidic soil with average moisture in full sun to part shade. It is best to avoid pruning female hollies as the flowers and following berries may be affected. If required, light trimming or removal of dead wood may be done in early spring.
